SYMBOLISM

  / Thread

The Armenian word 'թել' means 'thread.' For Tell Press, this thread represents the connection between women writing in endangered languages and the strands that bind them together. It evokes the image of a storyteller spinning a yarn, weaving untold stories back into a history that has forgotten them.

Our press publishes creative works written by women in endangered languages, with a special focus on Western Armenian. We also publish reprints of books by women that are no longer in circulation, ensuring their voices remain part of global literary history.
